Dive into a fun world of Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox or your favourite game! Our therapies boost confidence, social skills and communication skills for participants, all while enjoying the game. The participant is guided to complete fun challenges with a qualified Accredited Therapist working together to achieve the participants goals inline with their therapeutic needs.
Benefits of an Accredited Therapist
Counselling via interactive tools such as video games are designed for those that require tailored specialised care that can only be provided by a qualified and experienced Accredited Therapist who is also a registered Counsellor or Psychotherapist. The game acts as a familiar place for the participant so the therapist can provide effective therapy.
*At any given time the participant can also choose to cease gameplay to focus on traditional counselling (talk therapy)

Types of Therapy
Gaming Therapy is an innovative solution that provides the equivalent of psychotherapy, talk therapy, or therapy and is a process through where participants work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. This is often focused around general mental health and associated issues.
Rehabilitation Counselling is focused on helping people achieve their personal, career, academic and independent living goals through a counselling process. This form of therapy is best suited for those who need assistance rehabilitating from previous trauma from academic, career, or personal incidents and work towards a wholistic goal.
Employment Counselling explores various post-school options, and identify your interests and strengths, and help you make informed decisions about your career path. We also assist with Resume Writing, Job Applications, and Interview Skills & etiquette.

The eTherapist (Accredited)
Our Counsellors are university qualified Therapists such as Counsellors / Psychotherapists. They are registered and accredited through ACA or PACFA. All therapists must also be an Interactive Professional too in order to provide Interactive Therapy. They are already an expert in their field and ideally suited for participants requiring a deeper & tailored level of professional therapy. Due to their skills in Interactive Therapy, they create sessions that have a higher than average participant engagement level.
Our clinician will carefully guide the participant through fun and engaging tasks making sure the participants feel safe, happy and most of all, having fun!
Accessible and Affordable for all mental capacities
All Minds Support Network services are priced based on the latest available NDIS funding. As such our Counselling Services are affordable for anyone and everyone whether that be through funding or choosing to pay privately.

Session Times
Sessions run during the day, nights and on weekends all year long. This includes during school hours, after school and during holidays. Simply select your preferences during registration.
Requirements.
Participant must already have an Xbox, PlayStation, Switch or PC plus a strong internet connection and any online multiplayer subscription necessary to play the required game online with others.
Cost for Interactive Therapy with an Accredited Therapist
Sessions are a minimum or 1 hour can be extended to 4 hours with mini breaks in-between.

Set-up, Technical Issues & Reporting
Online games require occasional setup, especially when joining for the first time. Internet dropouts or technical issues may also occur. Our eTherapist takes notes during sessions to align with your therapy goals, which is factored into the session duration. A small portion of each session will be spent on these necessary activities.
