Dungeons & Dragons Therapy

4 to 6 players with a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio

Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a virtual tabletop role-playing game where you create characters and embark on imaginative adventures guided by a Dungeon Master. Gameplay involves storytelling, dice rolling, and strategic decision-making as you navigate fantasy worlds and complete quests.

Dungeons and Dragons therapy helps you engage in creative problem-solving, enhance social skills, and explore personal issues in a safe, structured environment. It allows for self-expression and can foster a sense of accomplishment and teamwork.

Participate in a 1:1 or a 2:1 ratio with an eTherapist dedicated just for you! The Dungeon-Master leads the game as you embark on a new adventure! In our unique format we help you work through personal challenges and develop coping strategies. Expect a blend of role-playing, discussion, and collaborative storytelling tailored to your counselling needs.

Dungeons & Dragons Gaming (Adults or Children) with Other Participants

This concept fosters creativity, aiming to enhance confidence, social aptitude, and communication abilities in a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio. Participants team up with eTherapists for enjoyable challenges tailored to their therapy objectives. Each participant has their own eTherapist for support.

Think of it as an online playdate where participants, along with eTherapists, engage in gaming sessions to promote friendship. This setup offers the advantage of “chaperone style” supervision with an eTherapist guiding participants, aiding in their social & communicative growth plus monitored interaction with other players.

This allows for up to 6 players to participate.

Meet New Friends through Dungeons & Dragons Game Therapy

D&D is a great way to make new friends! Plus with the support and assistance of your very own eTherapist, you can rest assured you have the full attention and care from a caring professional. Another benefit of having a personal eTherapist is that if you need a “time-out”, that’s fine! Your eTherapist can depart the game with you into another game or simply just a breather until you are ready to participate again. You have the choice and support as you meet new people through our Dungeons and Dragons program.

Benefits of Dungeons & Dragons Gaming
The eTherapist (Chaperone)

Our Dungeons & Dragons Therapy are unlike any other service we offer. Our “Play-Dates” format is the only form of group therapy offered by Minds except with the care and attention of a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio.

Our eTherapists work collaboratively to care and guide the participants in a social setting. They are professional gamers, counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers or other allied health professionals.

Having a team of up to 3 experts guiding the game for each participant allows for an abundance of knowledge, expertise, and attention rarely seen in any form of group therapy.
