Who are Minds Support Network?
Minds Support Network is an Australian organisation who brings connection, joy and therapy into participants lives via our online gaming programs. These are ran by eTherapists.
We support those with autism, Down syndrome, acquired intellectual disabilities, intellectual challenges, mental health issues, or any issue that affects concentration or communication.
The Minds ‘Online Healthcare Professional' (eTherapist)
Depending on which service you require, our services are ran by either a Game-Therapist or a Game-Master
We refer to these as ‘eTherapists’.
Game Therapy sessions are ran by an Accredited Game Therapist who is also a qualified and accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist or even Social Worker. Ideal for those looking to improve mental health and work towards their goals.
Therapeutic Gaming sessions are ran by a Therapeutic Gaming Professional who is a trained and experienced gamer up to an expert-level and has appropriate clearance to perform these type of therapeutic programs. They are also advised and supported by our Game Therapists.
None of our services impose ANY restrictive practices and we work wholistically with a participants support team.
If there are specific requests to be matched (or not) with someone of a certain skill set, gender or culture then please make that clear in the application. We always do our best to match someone ideal for you or those you care for!
